Today Saturday March 14 the Riptide Bounty has begun. The first person to catch a "legal" size striper (28") or bigger will win a 100.00 gift card to Riptide Bait and Tackle. There is no entry fee and you must have a witness to your catch. The fish must also be caught off the front of the brigantine surf between Wreck inlet and Absecon inlet and must be caught from the beach. We have plenty of fresh blood worms and still have some sputniks left. The water temps are still a little chilly but if we can string together some warmer days it might start to get things going. I have not had any reports of anything being caught off the surf yet but they should be here any day. The wind is calm and the sun is somewhere behind the clouds. Maybe this will be the day ??????           Rangers and the pliers go head to head this afternoon. Both teams really need the points as the playoff race so tight who knows what is going to happen??
