Eric Fluck from Allentown P.A. came into the shop this morning and purchased some Riptide Rotters. He later called me to help him bring back this 90LB black drum that he and 5 other guys lifted up the South end jetty. When he called me it always seems bigger than it really is but this thing was a MONSTER, and he fought it for a half hour on 20 pound Power Pro. I am waiting to see if there is a school of drum in the area or was this one just on his own?? We have had some good reports of king fish starting to school up out front. I am also waiting to see if this is the largest black drum caught off the beach or a jetty? I know there was a 109 pounder caught off the boat in Cape May but I am wondering about the surf?? If anyone one knows, please call the shop or shoot me an e-mail.
