The absecon Inlet has been on fire the last couple days and the night bite has been starting to give up fish also. The surf has had a cosistant bite and even gave up a 50 pound drum to Ron D. Team Riptide had a tog trip planned yesterday. It was cut short do to the increasing seas. After we decided that it was getting to rough we tried to assist the Coast Guard in retreiving the vessel that had turned over. We made it to the location and saw the boat but the CC decided that we shouldn't hook our lines up at that point. We later found out that the third body was found under the vessel. My heart and blessings go out to the family and loved ones of not only this vessle but also the one in the Delaware Bay. When the water gets to be this cold take every precaution you can and if you are worried at all then don't do it, it's not worth the risk. Mother Nature fears nobody and has proved it on many occasions.
