As I have said from the very beginning Monica Oswald 24 pound flounder will not be the world record. The IGFA announced must thought like the majority of other people that the story was a little to fishy. The reason they gave was a little lame, they say because she held the rod against the side of the boat during the fight disqualified her. I guess they just wanted to be nice to her. The 10 other reasons didn't matter. They claim that she did pass a lie detector test, but then again that's why they are not permissible in court.
The bite continues to be good with the usual suspects being caught in the surf. Blood worms, and mullet are your two choices for bait. Stripers are being caught off the jetties at night with plugs and Bombers. The weather looks good for the next couple of days so turn the computer off and start fishing :)
Good luck
Capt Andy
