The bunker and bluefish have invaded the surf in Brigantine. We are having blitzes up and down the beach. Finally after a long drought of the Summer doldrums we can now have some fun. The North end has been open all Summer but if you head up that way make sure you have bug spray or else bring some extra pints of blood to replace what you will lose. Instead of driving all the way up North just stay by the Seawall and the blues will be there also. Finger mullet, mackerel, or any types of metal have been landing 1-2 pound blues with regularity.
The "NEW" fishbites have been working like a dream and will give Berkley Gulp a run for their money next year. I like and believe that they will both do well and we may not need squid and minnows ever again :)
Thanks and Good luck
Captain Andy
