My bike has been found!!!!! After 10 days of being with out a bike I purchased a new one and was at a local restaurant. When I was done eating I came out to get on my new bike only to notice that the old bike was locked up next to it with my lock and combo on it!! After 20 minutes of talking to the officer, I could of had the BOZO arrested but because I didn't "see" him get off of it I didn't want to pursue it. Oh well now I have two and I will be selling the old one. Pee Wee would be proud!!
On the fishing front, we continue to have a plethora of fish species out there. King fish are still dominating the waters but snapper blues, flounder, SPOT, stripers, and now even croakers have made a presence. Blood worms continue to be the bait de jour off the front surf, with gulp and minnows working the best in the back bays. Brown sharks have also been caught but remember that you can't keep them. If you want, SPOT have been found all over the bays and if you take a Sabiki rig with some blood worms you can load up for the upcoming fall striper season. As usual we have have a big supply of our world famous SPOT cages with the patented water temperature equalizer to keep the water temp the same on both the inside and outside the cage :) . We also have the anti-otter bars on the cage to keep the pesky creatures away and don't forget the most important part is that all of our cages are made with 1" X 1" heavy gauge vinyl coated wire. If you are keeping spot in the cage you need the wider squares to allow for the proper water flow. During the warmer months, the cages will have a lot of growth on them and that restricts the flow of water and will kill the spot. Stop in and check them out. If you had joined up to the BigFishNJ.com web site and entered the FREE tournament that they had you could have won a 1000.00 dollars with a 1 pound blue fish.... Nobody entered a blue fish for the tournament, and a 10+ flounder won the 1000.00 dollars in the other division. Check it out as they are going to start their daily tournaments now and it is going to be a lot of fun.
Thanks and keep on fishin
