Even Charlie Lapolla is catching nice bass up to 28 pounds along with a couple of big blues. Lou Bocchicchio had another nice fish weighing in at 19 pounds. The first two fish he has caught are 23 pounds and 19 pounds, I think he will be spoiled for life. I watched them yesterday as pincushin has been coaching him through it all and is now thinking of starting his own surf charter business :)  The bite has been strong and steady for the last three days and with the nice weather who knows how much longer this will last. Anglers keep coming and reloading with more bait. We have 600 pounds of FRESH bunker and Mr smith is going to head out today again to load me up for Sunday. The Riptide Striper Derby is still going strong and for a 20.00 donation and a valid Brigantine 4 X 4 pass you can ride and fish the entire beach of Brigantine. The police will be out there looking day and night so make sure you keep the pink pass in your front window. There are still guys that are running the beach with out the pass and they have the license plates and will be looking for these people. So please make sure the pass is visible and you will make their jobs much easier.
