The first flounder to be weighed in at the shop was by 11 year old Alex Zabitsanus. It weighed 4 pounds and made his day. The bite on the surf has been very good as I have weighed in 6 fish so far. The reports are that the surf is rough but when you can get your line in the water the fish are biting. The Rudd brothers had two fish at 20 lb and 12 lbs. Mike McGhee weighed in a 12 pound puppy drum, Gary Kloss was at it again nailing a 17 pound bass and Ron Famularo caught his first striper in 3 years, a nice 12 pounder. There is a steady bite and we are loaded with bait, so come on in and get what you need so you can be eating fresh striper while watching the BLACKHAWK game tonight :) The sun keeps popping in and out but it is mostly overcast. If you need anything left out just give us a call and we will take care of you.
Thanks
Capt Andy
