2 fish were weighed in up at Absecon Bay on Tueasday. George (eelball) had a nice 19.9 pound fish but showed up just after the other fish was weighed in. Oh well eel "missed it by that much 99" . Thats a great sign that the fish are starting to get active and hungry!! Let's get out there and feed them :D

I did feed them, I still have eels in my tank (Don't tell Smitty) and I released one a day. That should have teased their appetite :D

andy,

I fished at 11th North starting in July. I had pretty good sucess catching blues and kings. I fished for stripers in the fall up until the beginning of December, with absolutely no luck. Tried clams and even tried bunker, not even a hit. Are there certain areas of the beach that won't produce a striper, because of the lack of drop offs in the water, etc.? Or was it just bad luck or lack of talent? Thanks.

The easy thing to say would be your lack of luck and talent :D December was one of the slowest fishing months we have had in at least 5 years. I don't know of any decent fish let alone shorts that were caught in that month. When the fish are here, I don't think it matters where you fish for them. you just have to put the time in and when they show up you will catch.
Good luck and don't give up

your first mistake was asking Andy! :D

just kiddin', I'll agree w/ him, that the fish seem to be caught up & down the island when they're around (not by me, unfortunately :( )
