Just want to let you know on a fun Tournament that we are going to be the weigh station for starting July 1st. It is the www.Garbagefish.com and will run from July 1st to July 31st. It will include sea robins, skates, and smooth or spiny dogfish. If you go to the site you can get all the details or stop in the shop and sign up here. The entry fee is 20.00 and they will be giving out 2500.00 cash prizes to the top three in each category. Please don't waste the fish, if you go to the site they have all different recipes and also explain how to clean them. they had this tournament last year but it was only for a week. This time it will go for a month. Check out there site or stop in the shop and we can fill you in on all the details.

The king fish are still all over the beach and guys are catching bigger sizes and numbers. They are still hitting on blood worms but the fishbites should start to be effective soon. Joe Jr did hit a 16.5 pound striper off his boat in the back bays over the weekend and Brian "The Runner" did catch 2 from the surf 20 and 28 pounds using sand fleas when he ran out of blood worms??? You never know out there but I am pretty sure that the migratory stripers have now left the house :(  . Maybe the blues will start to show up in full force again. That's been about it, we are stocking up for a BIG holiday weekend so stop in and see what's happening.
