This is the report that I received from the Tournament director on Saturday. "
Experienced surf angler division !st place, Susan Boehret 5 kingfish 2nd place Jane Jefferys 5 kingfish, 3rd place Andrea Tamborino 4 kingfish, largest fish caught Cathy Koestel 34inch striper. Novice Division 1st place Nicole Heenan 1king 5 sharks, 2nd place Debbie Scullo 1 kingfish 1 shark, 3rd place Cassidy Cucinotta and Shannon Ott 1 kingfish each. Largest fish novice division Cassidy and Shannon both had a 11 inch kingfish. Total of 30 kingfish caught that meet ASAC minimum requirement of 10 inches to score. I'm guessing but at least 70 others caught under ten inches. Most kingfish caught were 9 to 9 3/4 inches which did not count for points.Need any other info email me . Jim. We had them good on Sunday also as many anglers were telling me that they are catching good amounts of king fish but they are not that big yet. I'm just glad to see they are here and it will give us something to do after this last school of bass leaves us.
