It was one week ago that Anthony nailed a 34 and a 48 pound striper in the same day. Since then it has been an up and down week for the surf anglers. The boat guys have been CRUSHING the bass snagging bunker and holding on. Tom V and Barry Voss nailed 30 fish between 30 and 45 POUNDS!!! Norm Karl and John otherwise known as the "rookies" have been getting their steady catch of 35 pounders also. We are hoping that these winds are going to turn around and push these monster into the surf so the beach anglers can join in on the fun. We have had a couple of king fish showing up but they are not schooled up like they should be. Good luck to all the guys in the tournament and lets see what the Riptide Surfcasters can do on their home court.
