The striper fishing has started to tail off ( no pun intended) but we still weighed in a 28.5 incher today by Rick Barsuglia. he also said that he watched somebody else release a short. I am wondering if the 6 week run that we had is over is it just on hold?????  I fished yesterday with Joe Jr on his boat and we had 2 flounder and they were both keepers. The 18.5 incher ate a spot that was 7 inches long and I think that risky taking on a fish almost half his size. The 21 incher was caught on a Berkley gulp. The conditions were not good with the wind blowing and the dirty water but we still had a lot of fun anyway. Just want to say thanks to Joe Jr for the invite and it was nice to spend a day off on the water.
