The rain looks like it is moving out and the fish are hungry. The bite continues to be hot as another beach bass was weighed in yesterday. 13 pounds had the scale ringing as 18 year old Jack Dobbs nailed this 33 incher fishing with his buddys. There have been plenty of reports of schoolie size bass being caught with plugs. The usual mix of kings, weaks, and blues are still all over the surf and are enjoying bloodworms and mullet.

HEY-YA - -Just wanted to thank you and a couple of customers who helped my wife out on Sat.9/15 when she went to your shop with a shopping list i wrote on a napkin-4 mullet rigs,6 oz.pyramids and fresh mullet. It was the 1st time I ever fished on BI and only 2nd time there.
Fished in front of friends beach front rental at 4th and picked out a small cut between the breakers - 12 snapper blues (4 throwbacks) 2hrs in and 1 out tide. then salad getting thick. Thanks again-She really liked the shops 'attitude'--so much so she even surprised me with a $50 GC to your shop ! Guess you'll be seeing me soon to redeem.
