I have been getting complaints about the lack of reports being posted but it the same thing we have had all Summer. There was an angler in here that did see another 33" striper caught but that's been about it. You can catch all the spot you want and chunk up one or put it on a mullet rig to catch a blue fish that have been reaching the 5 pound mark. The Riptide Striper Derby has been doing great and i am really amazed at all the anglers that have signed up so far. It started this past Monday but we have not had a weigh in for the tournament for the weekly prize yet. Maybe today will be the day??? We have fresh clams in stock and just received a report that the North end is giving up some pretty big spot. We have spot at the shop also but why buy them when you can catch all you want in our Brigantine waters? Live fresh blood worms have been working the best and we have been getting the pick of the litter as far as blood worms go. I should be getting my new Tica surf rods in and the New Tommy Farmer Rods have been a great seller. we are loaded with everything you need to get ready for the upcoming striper run. Some Big bass are being caught up in Montauk and I know that Homer, Kenny, and the boys are heading up there this week so we will get the "official" report. I would love to go with them but it's just not the right time. The Elks Fall Fishing Tournament will be held November 5th 6th and 7th and will have two different divisions Surf or Boat. It's always a great tournament and I will be the official weigh station for it so lets try to support them as much as we can because the money goes to support the wounded veterans.
Thanks and Good Luck
Capt Andy
