The first weigh-in for Sunday morning was caught by Joe Bowen weighing in at 12 pounds. Anthony "All I Do Is Catch Big Fish" Daversa caught a 46" 34lb 6oz striper up at the North End yesterday. The fish was long but very skinny??? They had a hot bite all morning and it slowed down again in the afternoon. I am waiting to here from the guys how the bite was during the night. PLEASE REMEMBER THAT THE MIDDLE BEACH IS CLOSED NOW UNTIL THE FALL TOURNAMENT!!!!!!! They will be ticketing and they said that ignorance is no excuse. The early report from the South end is it's very weedy but should clean up in a couple of hours. NORTH END IS STILL VERY SOFT and you have to be careful in the sugar sand, low tide is no problem but high tide has been a killer getting up there. We blew through the 500 pounds of bunker yesterday but we still have clams. I have vacuum packed frozen bunker which is still good stuff. Anthony D came back to the shop to pick up three packs so you know they have to be good.
