8:00 am and the weigh-ins are starting....Joe Connolley and his kids were up early and fighting the bass again. This one weighed in at 25.5 pounds and 42 inches. We had numerous weigh-ins yesterday from the surf but the biggest fish came from the Stock boys who were out on the boat and nailed 5 fish to 44 pounds and a puppy drum to go along with them. The fish were ranging anywhere from 12 to 28 pounds from the surf and the morning bite seemed to be more productive. Mr Smith spent the day in the hospital after getting harpooned by a stingray while he was out trying to get me bunker. He was into a nice school when this happened and was only able to get me about 20 fish. Today he is out there again and I will post if it is a good day for him.
