We had a steady picking of stripers in the surf all day but it wasn't until the sun started to set did the big cows start to feed. BJ Nemeth weighed in a 30 lb 10 oz monster caught in the surf on a Rotter and Josh Biondi started with a 37" and finished with a 42" 21 pound striper using bunker heads. The bigger ones a re just starting to show up and with the weather system in place we should have a lot of big ones showing up. The Absecon Inlet continues to be red hot as guys are catching on what seems to be almost every drift. You have to pick through the schoolies but they all getting enough keepers to keep the anglers happy. It is 9:00 am and it is perfect striper weather. A little on the cool side but if you like to fish for stripers you know how to prepare. The low pressure system is upon us and from what I know (which isn't much :)) is the time the bite is the best.
