That school of big bass is still hanging around the waters of Brigantine. Tom LePera and his son were out on their boat just in front of the breakers when they snagged a bunker and dropped it down to nail a FAT 43.5 pound striper. John Rynkiewicz was fishing with Mike Skelly and the " High Point" and did the same thing and caught a 38 pound striper. The fish are still out there and these boaters are catching them just outside the breakers of the front beaches so I'm thinking that they are in reach of some casters???
I just received word that the 90 pound drum that was caught is a potential line class world record. We will see what has to be done, I will keep you posted
