The stripers are moving out of the Inlets

Yesterday we had a 37" striper caught off the 6th st beach and today we had an 18 pounder weighed in using a plug by the South end jetty. Now this does not mean we are have a "blitz" but I think as the water keeps warming we will find more and more bass sweeping the front of the beaches. We have fresh bunker in but I think the better choice would be frozen salted clams. Also with the warmer waters we will start to the blues going after all the bait fish that are swimming around the Island. Did I mention that we have "loads" of king fish in the surf???????

 Thanks and good luck

Captain Andy
