Yesterday Jared Hamburger was fishing in Brigantine and hooked into a 4 foot Sand Tiger shark. If you look at the pictures the shark has some pretty vicious chompers on him and I know I wouldn't want to put my hand in that mouth. Dr Jay Zimmerman hooked into several weakfish and took a 21" and 19" home for dinner. Phil Durrantt and his son were all over the weakfish but could only catch the short ones. There is a huge school of bunker invading the island. We have yet to find out if there are any blues or bass underneath them. I am also starting to get more reports of kingfish moving in but I wouldn't come running down yet. At least we are starting to see some life out there and maybe this will be the week that the summer fishing begins???
